Golden rule of Psychotherapy

Confidentiality
In order to provide maximum benefit, psychotherapy or counselling treatments require that the patient feels safe to communicate openly about sensitive and sometimes painful issues, something which cannot happen in an atmosphere of mistrust. We take confidentiality extremely seriously and ensure that everything which is discussed between patient and therapist is kept in strictest confidence, to the maximum extent allowed by the law.

Expertise
True expertise does not just come from training and the award of qualifications, but additionally from years of practical experience in the fields of psychotherapy and counselling. Whilst understanding the theory is, of course, essential, it is the considerable experience which our renowned professional therapists have to offer which enables them to assess and treat our patients accurately and effectively and help them to achieve long-term improvements to their lives.

Reliability
Stability and trust are essential in developing constructive therapist/patient relationships which lead to effective treatment. As recognised professionals in their fields, our therapists offer their outstanding reputations as proof of their reliability in terms of service, as well as in terms of results.

Respect
Respect is at the very core of our ethos, but respect more than just about delivering a professional service. It is also about treating our patients as individuals and about not judging them or their lives or their behaviours. We are all human beings who experience difficulties in our lives and try to make the best of problematic and distressing events and circumstances, and we all deserve to be treated with respect and receive appropriate care. Every patient that we see is assessed and treated according to his or her specific needs using a tailored treatment plan designed to achieve their desired outcomes.
